On Sunday, January 5, 2020, the officers-elect of the Historic Frederick Douglass High School Alumni Association, Inc. for the term 2020-2022 were installed following the Morning Worship Service of The Christian Liberty Church at Frederick Douglass High School in the Mary West Miller Auditorium. Sunday Worship services for The Christian Liberty Church under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Lee are held weekly at our school; therefore, the Association felt it appropriate to worship together and install our new Alumni Association officers afterwards. We were truly blessed to participate in this uplifting inspirational worship service and receive the motivating heartfelt message delivered by Pastor Lee. The officers installed at the ceremony following the service were: Johnnie Foreman Jr. ’68, President, Shirley Duncan ’66, 1^st Vice President, Dorne B. Lyles’68, Recording Secretary, Vashti D. Pullum ’68, Treasurer, Cheryl A. Horton’68,  Financial Secretary,  and Adele V. White’71 Corresponding Secretary.  The orientation for the new officers will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020.  We congratulate all our new officers and we are looking forward to the experience that their leadership will bring to the Association.  The HFDHS Alumni Association deeply appreciated the fellowship and hospitality extended to us by Reverend Lee and his congregation.
